Time, Truth, and Heart

Back in August 2011, I chopped all my hair off. Now, I’ve decided to grow it out.  Not sure if you know this, but growing out short hair is an agonizing process; so I’m gonna blog about it. Partly to have a document of my struggle, partly to keep me from going for the scissors again, and partly just to have something to blog about. I plan on posting a picture every 2 weeks until I get it to the length I want.

Here’s what it looked like when I first cut it:

No, that’s not a whole year of growth. The last time I cut it was a couple months ago.

Here’s what I’m doing to help it grow:

• I wash it 2-3 times a week instead of every day (and when I do, I use Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter)
• I use “Doo-Gro” growth lotion
• I take a daily multivitamin
• I -try- not to heat-style
• I cram my diet with lots of protein, iron, and b-vitamins

Any other suggestions that might help are more than welcome.
